Сегодня, 3 ноября, в Индии празднуют Праздник Огней – Дивали.
Я только что получила поздравление от друзей из Ашрама Сурья Крия, куда Мастер дыхания Дэн Брюле ежегодно привозит международную группу своих учеников. Делюсь с вами.

1. История праздника Дивали в Индии
Дивали — древний индуистский праздник в Индии. Он, вероятнее всего, является прообразом фестиваля урожая в Древней Индии. 2. Когда, сколько дней и кем отмечается праздник Дивали в Индии?

В Индии проживает 950 миллионов индусов. А общее количество индийцев приближается к 1 миллиарду 350 миллионам человек. Последователи буддизма, джайнизма и сикхизма также соблюдают различные обычаи, связанные с Дивали. Чаще всего у них имеется собственное толкование отдельных аспектов праздника.
3. Как в Индии отмечают праздник Дивали?
Для индусов праздник Дивали является одним из самых важных индуистских праздников. Он вращается вокруг торжества «добра над злом», «чистоты над нечистотой», «света над тьмой».
Дивали празднуют в течение пяти дней. В первый день, который имеет название Дхан Триодаши, люди убирают свои дома и покупают золото или кухонную утварь, чтобы привлечь удачу. Во второй день (Нарака Чатурдаши) индусы украшают свои дома сотнями маленьких глиняных ламп, называемых «дивами». Их устанавливают как внутри домов, так и снаружи. Часто бутылки с цветной водой помещаются перед лампами, чтобы дать им цветное свечение.
В ночь главного дня праздника Дивали индийские города полны цвета и света. Лампы горят не только в домах, но и на улицах и в храмах. Также жители Индии создают узоры на полу, используя цветные порошки или песок.
Третий день праздника имеет название Лакшми Пуджа. Это главный день праздника. Члены семей одевают новые одежды и собираются для Лакшми Пуджи (молитвы богине Лакшми). Северяне отмечают Дивали пять дней с кульминацией на третий день (пуджа Лакшми), южане празднуют Дипавали всего один день, в Махараштре — шесть дней. На Севере Индии Дивали приурочен к возвращению Бога Рамы в его родную Айодхью из вынужденного 14-летнего изгнания вместе с женой Ситой и братом Лакшманой. Принц возвращался ночью, в темноте, но его подданные так ждали этого славного возвращения, что каждый из них зажег лампаду, чтобы осветить путь Рамачандре, а заодно и отпраздновать это великое событие.
На юге Индии Дипавали отмечается как Нарака Чатурдаши – день, когда Кришна одолел Наракасура. Примечательно, что даже дата праздника на севере и юге может не совпадать из-за разницы в лунных календарях, используемых для вычисления даты фестиваля.
В дни празднования Дивали Индия светится из космоса ярким пятном, которым часто любуются астронавты, оказавшиеся за пределами планеты.
Подготовка к Дивали
Дивали — добрый семейный праздник, к которому начинают готовиться заранее, покупая гирлянды, дипы, иллюминацию и украшения для дома.
Накануне праздника Deepawali и часто – в первые его дни – везде ведется генеральная уборка: дома подметают и вымывают, красят и белят, локально ремонтируют, начищают до блеска все поверхности, стирают домашний текстиль. Старые и ненужные вещи выкидываются. Северяне параллельно начинают готовится к зиме в этот день: достают теплые вещи, ковры, зимние одеяла.
Перед началом фестиваля Дивали в разных регионах Индии отмечается День поклонения коровам и телятам. Он назвается по-разному (в зависимости от штата): Говатса Двадаши, Васу Барас, Нандини Врат. Его празднуют в день перед Дхантерасом, проводя пуджу перед коровой или ее изображением. В этот день принято кормить коров и телят, а также держать пост на их благо (в частности, воздерживаться от изделий из муки и пшеницы, молочных продуктов).
Дхантерас – первый день Дивали
Дхантерас или Дханатрайодаши – первый день Дивали, когда проводят пуджу для Бога здоровья Дханвантари и Бога богатства Куберы. «Дхан» – означает «богатство». Согласно верованиям индуистов, именно на Дхантерас появился из пены океана во время пахтания его асурами и девами Дханвантари – Бог врачевания, здоровья, аюрведы. Также в первый или второй день фестиваля может проводиться Яма Дипам, когда на юге дома зажигают особенную дипу из теста с кунжутным маслом внутри. Считается, что такая дия удовлетворит Бога смерти Яму и отвратит преждевременную смерть от членов семьи.
По поверьям хинду, в дни Дивали Богиня Лакшми посещает каждый дом в стране. Поэтому многие индуисты оставляют окна и двери открытыми по ночам, чтобы Деви могла беспрепятственно войти в их жилище и освятить его, благословить. Даже мусульмане на Дивали не остаются в стороне и тоже зажигают огоньки. Представители этой религии считают, что игра в кости или карты в дни индуистского праздника дарит удачу на следующий год.
Как празднуют Дивали на Севере страны?
На Севере и Западе Индии фестиваль Дивали приравнивается по размаху празднования к Новому году на постсоветском пространстве. Его отмечают широко, громко и красиво. В Гуджарате и соседних западных штатах Дивали считается началом года. В этой местности издревле осенью начиналась отправка торговых кораблей и по сей день местные торговцы закрывают бухгалтерию старого года к этому дню и открывают новую.
К основным традициям празднования Дивали на Севере Индии относят:
- Улицы, парки, площади и здания городов украшают декоративными гирляндами и цветами, повсюду развешивается иллюминация.
- В домах обязательно декорируют алтарь и фасад здания, чаще всего для этого используют гирлянды из натуральных или искусственных цветов.
- Перед входом в дом, магазин, офис прямо на земле или на крыльце создают ранголи. Это священные рисунки с важными символами, которые наносят цветными порошками, рисом, крашеным песком, пудрой. Индийцы верят, что именно благодаря ранголи Лакшми в дни праздника найдет дома индуистов и будет тем самым приглашена в них. Также ранголи выступает в качестве защитного знака, своеобразного амулета на счастье.
- Многие люди держат пост в основной день фестиваля и начинают вкушать еду только с прасадом после пуджи в честь Лакшми и Ганеши.
- С заходом солнца индийцы повсеместно зажигают глиняные светильники дия (наливают в них масло, кладут фитилек и поджигают его), считается обязательным освятить каждый уголок дома, поставив светильники во всех комнатах (в углу), на окнах и балконах.
- Ночью проводится пуджа Богине процветания Лакшми и ее приемному сыну Ганеше, часто кроме подношения даров (рис, цветы, сладости, фрукты, сандаловая паста, серебро или золото) и огненного арти, индийцы также ставят перед изображением Богини тхали с монетами в молоке, которые служат залогом обретения удачи и благословения Лакшми.
- На Дивали все надевают новые одежды, семьи ходят друг к другу в гости, угощаются традиционными блюдами и сладостями, обязательно дарят подарки (чаще всего – предметы домашнего обихода).
- Помимо горящих во всех домах глиняных лампадок «дия», индийцы добавляют помпы празднику за счет петард, фейерверков, салютов, бенгальских огней. Ночь новолуния, когда празднуется Дивали, считается самой темной в году и только обилие света на улицах способно преодолеть этот мрак. Каждая семья не скупится на иллюминацию в этот день, молодежь и подростки поджигают кто во что горазд. На улицах стоит канонада, примерно как у нас в ночь с 31 декабря на 1 января.
Дивали – это еще и повод установления рекордов по одновременному зажиганию огромного количества огоньков. Так, например, в 2020 году в Резиденции Принца Рамы – Айодхье, Книгой Рекордов Гинесса был зафиксирован новый рекорд. На месте, где строится уникальный Храм Рождения Рамы и на берегу реки Сарайю был проведен колоссальный Дипотсав – зажигание дип в количестве 584572 штуки (5,84 лакха – по индийскому способу расчета).
Во время Дивали начинается свадебный сезон, который длится еще минимум месяц после праздника. Считается благоприятным пожениться именно в это время, поэтому множество пар выбирают в качестве свадебной даты один из дней в период после Дипавали. Традиция уходит корнями вглубь веков, когда время для заключения брака выделялось после сбора урожая и до новой посевной.
Особенности празднования Дивали в Южной Индии
На юге существуют свои, уникальны традиции празднования Dipawali. Особенно следует выделить натирание тела кокосовым маслом, которое убирает все грехи и загрязнения человека и по мощи приравнивается к погружению в воды священных рек индуизма.
Также есть региональная специфика южного Дипавали:
- в Тамилнаду на праздник Типавали принято принимать масляные ванны и делать ранголи в стиле колам из рисовой муки, иногда люди принимают немного лекарственного лехияма;
- в Карнатаке проводится ритуал Балипадьями, делается пуджа царю асуров Бали, которого убил Вамана (аватар Вишну), жители деревни предлагают богам еду рядом с рисовыми полями;
- в Андхра-Прадеше и Телангане Дивали празднуется как победа Кришны-Сатьябамы над Наракасурой, пуджа Богине Лакшми проводится только утром;
- в Хайдерабадском университете Османия, студенты проводят Дивали не в праздновании, а в оплакивании Наракасура, отмечая, что он был великим царем, давшем миру множество знаний и несправедливо убитым в этот день;
- в Керале фестиваль Дивали не в большом почете, но тут делают ритуальную масляную ванну, готовят сладости, в последнее время на побережье штата вечером праздника активно взрывают петарды.
Интересно, что тамилы, населяющие Шри-Ланку (царство Раваны) празднуют Дивали очень сдержанно, так как на острове принято считать, что Равана был хорошим царем и, вопреки распространенному мнению (зафиксированному в Рамаяне), спасал Ситу от Рамы.
Когда празднуют Дивали?
Diwali – праздник, ежегодно рассчитываемый по Луне, как и многие в индуистском календаре. Он празднуется обычно или в конце октября или в начале ноября, в священный месяц Картика.
- В 2020 году Дивали отмечается с 12 по 16 ноября, главный день Дивали — 14 ноября 2020 года.
- В 2021 году Дивали празднуется с 1 по 6 ноября. Главный день фестиваля выпадает на 4 ноября 2021 года.
- В 2022 году Дипавали приходится на даты c 22 октября по 26 октября. Лакшми Пуджа выпадает на 24 октября 2022 года.
- В 2023 году пероид Дивали это дни с 10 по 14 ноября. Наиболее масштабные празднования Дивали ожидаются 12 октября 2023 года, на Лакшми Пуджу.
- В 2024 году индийский праздник огней будет проходить с 29 октября по 3 ноября. Самый важный день Дивали в 2024 году — 31 октября.
- В 2025 году индийцы будут праздновать Дипавали с 18 по 23 октября. Главный день Дивали выпадает на 20 октября 2025 года.
