Сериал «Чужой» Ноя Хоули расскажет о войне земных корпораций
Анонсированный в позапрошлом году сериал по культовому франчайзу Ридли Скотта «Чужой» никуда не спешит, но процесс идёт. К кастингу ещё не приступили, зато сценарий пишется. Об этом в свежем интервью журналу Esquire рассказал креативный руководитель проекта Ной Хоули («Фарго», «Легион»).
В предыдущих интервью шоураннер успел сообщить, что события его сериала разворачиваются на Земле, а нынче разъясняет сказанное, обещает войну корпораций.
События разворачиваются на Земле будущего. Происходящее в сюжете можно сравнить с противостоянием Эдисона, Вестингауза и Теслы. Кто-то из них монополизирует электричество. Мы просто пока не знаем, кто именно. В фильмах у нас корпорация «Вейланд-Ютани», которая ко всему прочему занимается разработкой искусственного интеллекта. Но что если и другие компании пытаются по-новому взглянуть на вопрос бессмертия, прибегая к кибернетическим улучшениям или загрузкам человеческого сознания? Какая из технологий победит?
Неудивительно, что Хоули в «Чужих» и восхищает больше всего то, что тематика этих фильмов не сосредоточена исключительно на космических чудовищах.
«Чужой» — восхитительная история, потому что посвящена не только монстрам. Фильмы рассказывают, как мы оказались в ловушке между первобытным прошлым и искусственным интеллектом будущего, и оба — прошлое и будущее — пытаются нас уничтожить. Если бы сериал даже на 60% состоял из лучшего на планете хоррор-экшена, оставшиеся 40% мы бы посвятили вопросу: «Что мы всем этим пытаемся сказать?» Сериал должен быть интересен тематически. Для меня большая честь — поиграть с иконографией этого культового мира.

Noah Hawley (born c. 1967) is an American director, producer, and writer for television and film who created and wrote the FX television series Fargo (2014–present) and Legion (2017–2019). Hawley earlier worked on the television series Bones (2005–2008), The Unusuals (2009), and My Generation (2010), and wrote the film The Alibi (2006). He also wrote and directed the film Lucy in the Sky (2019). He is set to create a new television series based on the Alien film franchise. In addition to his work in film and television, he has also written six novels.
Early life[edit]
Hawley was born and raised in New York City.[1][2] His mother, Louise Armstrong,[3] was a non-fiction writer and activist, and his maternal grandmother was a playwright. His father, Tom Hawley, was a businessman.[3] He has a twin brother, Alexi, who has written for the television shows The Following and Castle and is the creator of State of Affairs, The Rookie, and The Recruit.[2][3]
Hawley graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a degree in political science in 1989.[4][5] He worked for the Legal Aid Society in New York City, dealing with cases involving child abuse and neglect.[5][6] He later moved to San Francisco. He worked in computer programming at law firms[5] and as a paralegal.[2]

He has published six novels: A Conspiracy of Tall Men (1998), Other People’s Weddings (2004), The Punch (2008), The Good Father (2012), Before the Fall (2016), and Anthem (2022), plus one non-fiction work, Fargo: This is a True Story (2019).[7]
Television[edit]

Hawley was a writer and producer on the first three seasons of the television series Bones (2005–2008).[8] He was also creator and executive producer of The Unusuals (2009) and My Generation (2010).[9]
Hawley is the creator, primary writer, and executive producer of the FX anthology television series Fargo (2014), based on the Coen brothers’ 1996 film of the same name. On August 25, 2014, Fargo won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries, along with 17 additional nominations at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards. In total, the series has been nominated for 113 awards since its premiere, winning 32 of them. The fourth season of Fargo premiered on September 27, 2020.[10]
In December 2015, Hawley extended his production deal with FX.[11] He wrote and served as executive producer for Legion, an FX television series based on the Marvel comic book character.[12]
On December 10, 2020, it was announced that Hawley will be creating a television series based on the Alien franchise for FX, for which he will serve as the showrunner, primary writer, and executive producer.[13] The show is scheduled to be released sometime in 2023.[14]

Hawley wrote the original screenplay for the film The Alibi (2006).[15]
In September 2014, Hawley signed a deal with Universal Pictures to script an untitled project for their upcoming Dark Universe.[16] Sony Pictures has acquired the rights to Hawley’s novel, Before the Fall, with him writing the screenplay.[16] In 2016, his 26 Keys production company signed a deal with 20th Century Fox to do films.[17]
On July 20, 2017, Hawley announced at Comic Con that he was writing and directing a Doctor Doom movie with 20th Century Fox.[18] However, the project was shelved following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox.[19][20]
In 2019, he made his feature film directorial debut with Lucy in the Sky, a drama film starring Natalie Portman as an astronaut, for Fox Searchlight.[21]
In November 2019, it was announced that Hawley would be writing and directing the fourth installment in the rebooted Star Trek franchise.[22] He finished the script in September 2020. It would feature a new crew, although set in the same universe.[23] In late November 2020, the project was cancelled and Hawley had left.[24]

Hawley resides in Austin, Texas and Los Angeles, California, with his wife, Kyle Hawley, and their two children.[2]

Шоу должно выйти на Hulu и подарит новую жизнь известной франшизе. Пока никаких новостей об актерском составе сериала нет, как и примерной даты релиза. Сейчас новым фильмом во вселенной также занимается режиссер Федерико Альварез, а продюсирует картину Ридли Скотт.

О них рассказал глава телеканала FX, который также объявил, что четвёртый сезон «Атланты» станет последним.
События сериала по «Чужому» будут происходить на Земле в недалёком будущем, в 2090-х. Ной Хоули уже написал пять сценариев для Alien, но съёмки начнутся после того, как шоураннер закончит работу над пятым сезоном «Фарго». Его планируют отснять зимой 2022-го, после чего FX и Хоули сосредоточатся на «Чужом».
Сериал, по словам главы FX, преподнесёт зрителям большие сюрпризы, будет соответствовать духу фильмов, но в то же время переизобретёт франшизу. Когда выйдет сериал по «Чужому», не уточняется.
Могу сказать только то, что Рипли и других уже знакомых персонажей в сериале не будет — за исключением самого ксеноморфа. […] Ной Хоули проделал такую же искусную работу с «Чужим», какую ранее он проделал с «Фарго». И припас для зрителей несколько больших сюрпризов.
Земля в качестве места действия — это интересный выбор. Нам пришлось подумать о её будущем с разных сторон — окружающей среды, власти, технологий — и создать дизайн планеты будущего. Ной хочет сделать его отличительным, оригинальным.

Руководитель FX также сообщил, что другой сериал телеканала — «Атланта» — завершится на четвёртом сезоне. Его сняли вместе с третьим сезоном, который начнут показывать в марте 2022-го.
«Атланта» — сериал о молодом человеке по имени Эрн, который пытается помочь своему двоюродному брату стать известным рэпером. Главные роли в шоу играют Дональд Гловер, Брайан Тайри Генри («Вечные»), Лейкит Стэнфилд («Простите за беспокойство», «Достать ножи») и Зази Битц («Джокер»).

Сериал «Чужой», которого ждут все поклонники знаменитой франшизы о смертельно опасных космических тварях с кислотой всесто крови, наконец начнет сниматься в 2023 году. Такую оптимистичную новость сообщил глава FX Джон Ландграф, представляя на TCA обновленную информацию о давно находящемся в разработке проекте, курирует который Ной Хоули. «Ной Хоули в данный момент работает над пятым сезоном сериала «Фарго», но также активно готовится к съемкам «Чужого» — он дописал сценарий, — в частности сказал Джон Ландграф. — По-моему, в эти выходные он встречается с художником-постановщиком в Остине, готовясь к съемкам в этом году после завершения пятого сезона «Фарго».»
В прошлом году во время мероприятия TCA, проходившего онлайн, босс FX уточнил, что действие «Чужого» Ноя Хоули «происходит до Рипли». Это первая история во франшизе «Чужой», действие которой развернется на Земле». «Все происходит на нашей планете. Прямо в конце этого столетия, в котором мы находимся, то есть, через 70 с лишним лет, — уточнил тогда Джон Ландграф. — Рипли, как и остальные персонажи из фильмов, кроме самого Чужого, не будут частью сериала».
Напомним, что сериал «Чужой» Ноя Хоули был впервые анонсирован во время пандемии на мероприятии Disney Investor Day в декабре 2020 года.

Производство сериала по «Чужому» должно стартовать в этом году
Глава канала FX Джон Ландграф подтвердил, что производство сериала во вселенной «Чужого» должно стартовать в этом году.
Автор проекта Ной Хоули уже написал сценарии, однако полноценно он займётся новым проектом после завершения работы над пятым сезоном «Фарго». И уже на днях создатель должен встретиться с дизайнером следующего сериала.
Деталей о проекте не очень много, однако известно, что действие сюжета развернётся за много лет до истории Рипли, причём события будут происходить на Земле. Кроме того, в сериале не появятся другие персонажи серии, кроме, конечно, самого пришельца.
Ещё ранее стало известно, что в этом же году должны стартовать съёмки нового фильма серии от постановщика «Не дыши» и ремейка «Зловещих мертвецов». А ещё в прошлом инсайдер Том Хендерсон рассказывал, что по франшизе выпустят новый AAA-хоррор и сиквел Alien: Isolation.
