Everything is ok all necessary programs are being installed but when I try to install my project it will give this error

Error 27506. Error executing SQL script dbName.sql Line 9
Create Database failed. some file names listed could not be created Check
related errors (1802)

I searched it says that my path in SQL script does not exist but how to make database to be created in installation folder of program itself?

Here first few lines of my SQL script

    According to your description, when you install an application and create a database, the error will occur. We need to verify if the error is happened when you create a database in SQL Server Management Studio.

    The containment parameter
    specifies the containment status of the database, it applies to SQL Server 2012 , SQL Server 2014. If you use CONTAINMENT = NONE in your script statement, it is the default so you do not need it in statement. For more information, see:

During the installation of Diamonds/ PowerConnect (version 2017 until 2019r02), you get the error:

Error 27506. Error executing SQL script install_authentication.sql. Line 27. CREATE DATABASE failed. Some file names listed could not be created. Check related errors. (1802)

This error is related to the database system (= SQL instance) used by these versions.

Solution 1

  • Install Diamonds/PowerConnect/BIM Expert 2020 or more recent. These versions so a different type of database, which no longer requires the installation of an SQL instance.

Solution 2

  1. Click the error away.
  2. Close the setup.
  3. Go to C:Program FilesMicrosoft SQL Server*NameOfTheDatabase*MSSQLDATA
    *NameOfTheDatabase* is usually ‘MSSQL12.SQLEXPRESS14’ or similar containing ‘BS’ (= short for BuildSoft) in the name.
  4. Delete all files starting with ‘bs’, like:
    • bs_Authentication
    • bs_Exchange
    • bs_Gateway
    • bs_UBSM
  5. Run the Diamonds (or PowerConnect) setup again.During the install Gateway will install again. During the install of Gateway you will be asked to select an SQL instance.
    Install a new SQL instance and change the name to something different than before, for. example ‘SQLEXPRESS14BS2’ or ‘SQLEXPRESS14BS3’.

Background:As part of our SixBit installation, we download and install a copy of SQL Server 2008 R2 Express. SQL Server 2008 R2 Express is a program from Microsoft. During the first time installation, we create a SQL Server database file on your computer. 

Symptom:

When the SixBit installer attempts to create the database file, the user sees an «Error 27506 — The server could not load DCOM (7404)».

Possible Causes:

Security programs and firewalls are designed to protect your computer from programs creating files on your computer, and some of them do not allow the creation of database files.  As a result, the SQL query that is trying to create the initial database fails.  Known security programs that cause this are CA Security Suite (California Associates) and Nvidia Hardware firewalls. 

Solution:

Try deactivating the security software, then perform the installation and reactivate when completed.  If you find a security program that displays this error, and you find the steps to correct it, please report them to us for inclusion in this document.
